Noble Muscadine is a fast-growing native deciduous climbing vine with a non-exfoliating bark that produces clusters of thick-skinned grapes in high yields. The large dark green foliage are bluntly toothed and have a nice color display in fall. The medium sized sweet black fruits that are a popular choice for juices and wines for its flavor and stable color are ready for harvest fall if pollinated. Muscadines are dioecious and need either both a male and female plant or a perfect flower cultivar to produce fruit. Grows best in full sun and moist well-drained soils. Noble is a self-fruiting cultivar and disease tolerant.
