Golden Fleece Autumn Goldenrod is a compact erect native herbaceous perennial with small toothed heart-shaped dark green foliage that lightens when in flower.  The near horizontal one-sided panicles are packed with tiny bright yellow flowers that bloom from late summer into fall attracting butterflies.  Deadheading will encourage an additional bloom.  Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils.
