Zig-zag Goldenrod is a native woodland perennial with stems that may zig-zag and toothed broad-ovate green foliage. The small axillary clusters of tiny yellow flowers bloom at the upper part of the stems and stem ends from mid summer into fall attracting butterflies. Grows best with part shade and moist well-drained soils. Tolerates full shade.
