Three-square Bulrush is an aggressive clump-forming aquatic native grass with arching basal green leaves and three sided flower stems with brown awl-scaled spikelets that appear to grow from the sides of the stems in summer. Grows best in full sun and wet well-drained soils. While it grows to 3-4ft in shallow water, it can reach to 6ft in deeper water.
