New Dimension Blue Meadow Sage is a dwarf herbaceous perennial with a compact upright habit and medium green foliage.  Long densely packed flower spikes with red-purple brackets holding intensely violet-blue two-lipped flowers bloom in late spring through summer and can continue into fall if deadheaded.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.
