Picta Ribbon Grass is a naturalized cool-season wetland grass with hollow stems and flat, arching green blades with a creamy center stripe. bright yellow-green spicy scented Iris-like foliage. The panicles of tiny white flowers appear above the foliage in June and July. Picta Ribbon Grass is very adaptable and can grow in any soil type or moisture tolerance.
NOTE: extremely vigorous spreader that is invasive if not planted in contained area! However, if this is not a concern it can be used for erosion control and dense ground cover. Planting in dry soil helps limit invasive qualities.
