Arrow Arum is a native aquatic perennial with cord-like roots and glossy, broadly arrow-shaped green foliage on long stocks.  The fleshy spadix with tiny greenish-yellow flowers is nearly enveloped by a green leave-like spathe in spring and gives way to fruits that mature to brown.  Grows best with 6" water or constantly moist boggy soils.  Tolerates full shade.
