Italian Oregano is a culinary perennial herb grown for its mildly flavored aromatic foliage. The upright stems are topped by short flower clusters of white flowers in summer. Grows best in full sun or with light afternoon shade in Southern climates and well drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Root rot may occur in poorly drained soils. Fungal diseases, aphids, and spiders are occasional problems. Cut back old stems before flowering to encourage growth.
