Othello Leopard Plant is a shade loving herbaceous perennial that forms a basal mound of leathery rounded dark foliage on long stocks.  New foliage emerges purplish-red and matures to dark brown green and fine burgundy veins on top with purplish undersides.  Small orange-yellow daisy like flowers bloom in mid summer.  Best color in full sun and rich moist well-drained soil.
