Kalanchoe

Kalanchoe blossfeldiana

Kalanchoe is an upright succulent often used as a gift or houseplant.  Its scalloped dark green foliage is topped by flowering stems holding large umbral flower clusters that can last up to four months and begin in late fall or winter.  Grows best with bright indirect sun and dry to average sharply-drained soils.  

The color selections offered are red, pink, salmon and yellow.  The color will be random unless specified in the Cart Note at checkout.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.   Susceptible to stem rot if overwatered.  Watch for mealybugs, mites, and scale.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Rock Gardens, Houseplant, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Christmas Cactus, Bromeliads, Amaryllis
