Dharuma Hydrangea is a dwarf deciduous shrub that blooms early on old wood. Its narrow foliage is dark green and have no fall color. The numerous airy panicles open soft white in mid-summer and darken to deep pink as they mature and persist until frost. The flowers attract butterflies and pollinators. While can tolerate full sun, its best blooms are in part sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils.
