Doublicious Hydrangea is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub able to bloom on both old and new wood.  Its lightly serrated dark green leaves have no fall color. The flowers have unique starry double-petaled flower clusters that cover the plant throughout summer into fall.  The color of the panicles depends on the soil PH - acidic soils produce lavender to blue flowers, while alkaline soils produce the rose pink its known for.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
