Forest Fire Hosta is a shade-loving herbaceous perennial primarily grown for its dramatic upright foliage.  The large wavy blue-green basal leaves are deeply veined and have irregular yellow margins that mature to white.  The small bell-like pale lavender flowers raise up in terminals from the rootstalk above the mound in mid-summer attracting butterflies.  Blooms best in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.
