Great Smokies Coral Bells is an evergreen herbaceous perennial with a clumping habit.  The oaklike leaves that create a basal mound below its flowers are a deep smokey olive with rose pink undersides and earn red tones until they are bright burgundy in fall.  Tiny white bell-like flowers bloom on spires in mid-spring attracting butterflies.  Best bloom in partial sun and moist well-drained soils.
