Classic Coral Dianthus is a compact mat-forming evergreen perennial with blue-grey foliage and hairy stems. Masses of fragrant semi to double coral pink flowers with frilled edges bloom first in early summer, and again later in early fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil. Classic Coral is heat, drought, and salt tolerant.
