Heart Attack Sweet William is a compact mat-forming perennial with medium green foliage and hairy stems.  Flat topped clusters of deep red carnation-like flowers bloom first in late spring into summer.  Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
