Sunkiss Tickseed is a compact mounding native perennial with narrow deep green foliage that is pinnate at the top and linear at the base. Large bright yellow daisy-like flowers with burgundy centers yellow disks bloom from late spring into summer. Prompt deadheading can prevent spread and encourage additional bloom in fall. Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained soil. Drought, humidity, and road salt tolerance. Tolerates afternoon shade in hot summer climates.
