Brown Select Satsuma is a fruit-producing evergreen shrub with a dense habit and small sweet fruit ready for harvest in late fall to winter. The aromatic foliage stays green year round while the fragrant white flowers bloom in spring. Brown Select fruits are small yellow-orange sweet mandarins that are easy to peel and nearly seedless. Grows best in full sun and deep, evenly moist, sandy to loamy well-drained acidic soils. Cannot tolerate frost. Brown Select is self-pollinating.
