Lucas False Cypress is a dwarf evergreen conifer shrub with a tight pyramidal habit.  The small, twisting scale-like foliage reminiscent of a fern frond has color depending on the sun exposure, where it is a buttery yellow in full sun and soft charuteue where shaded creating a variegated effect.  Best color in full sun and moist well-drained soil.
