It’s glossy needle-like foliage emerges a bright green and matures to a dark green it holds in winter. If the edible fruits are desired, both a female plant and male pollinator are required. Prefers partial sun and rich well-drained soils. Drupacea has improved shade and heat tolerance, and easily takes pruning.
