Bristly Sedge is a clumping native wetland evergreen grass with narrow arching glossy lime green foliage.  Clums rise above the foliage holding large chartreuse bottlebrush shaped spikelets in late spring into summer. Grows best in moist to wet well-drained soils.  Can grow in shallow water.
