Richmond Begonia is a small shrub-like perennial with red stems and semi-succulent foliage that is deep green in the shade but earns red tones with more sun and red undersides. A heavy continuous bloomer with pendulant clusters of red to pink flowers from summer until frost. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist well-drained soils. Treat as an annual when outdoors out of its hardiness zone.
