Maggie Daley Astilbe is a tall upright herbaceous perennial with glossy dark green foliage. Thick panicles of rich pink-lavender flowers bloom on dark stems above the leaves in mid to late summer. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist soils. Astilbe are deer and rabbit resistant.
