Diamond Astilbe is a mounding herbaceous perennial with lacy dark green fern-like foliage. Large feathery plumes of white flowers bloom above the leaves through summer and turn a caramel color as they fade, holding into winter. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist soils. Astilbe are deer and rabbit resistant. Also sold under the cultivar name 'Diamant'
