The Nordman Fir, also known by its scientific name Abies nordmanniana, is a type of evergreen tree native to the mountains of northern Turkey and the Caucasus. It's known for its attractive, glossy foliage and symmetrical shape.

Here are some key features of the Nordman Fir:

  1. Foliage: The needles are dark green on top with a silvery underside. They're soft to the touch and less prickly than some other fir species.

  2. Size: This tree can grow quite large, reaching heights of 35-50 feet and spreads of 15-25 feet in a landscape setting. However, it grows relatively slowly.
