Giant Papyrus is a tall clump forming sedge grass with thick light green triangular stems topped with huge airy umbels with thread-like rays. Tiny greenish flowers bloom at the end of each ray in mid summer. Prefers part shade and wet boggy soils. Drought tolerant. When grown in a frost free environment, it can reach as tall as 15 feet.
