American Gold Rush Black-Eyed Susan is a compact native herbaceous perennial with an upright clumping habit and hairy green narrow foliage. The large daisy-like golden yellow flowers have a black-brown center disk and bloom from mid-summer into fall and can experience another bloom if deadheaded. Flowers best in full sun and rich well-drained soils with consistent moisture. Drought tolerant once established. American Gold Rush is resistant to leaf spot.
