Fernleaf Buckthorn is a dense deciduous shrub with a strongly upright habit and fine wavey fern-like foliage that turns golden yellow in fall. Insignificant flowers give way to small burgundy fruit. Grows best with moist well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.
