Carolina Gold Peach is a semi-dwarf deciduous tree with a rounded crown primarily grown for its heavy crop of freestone mid-late season fruit. A beautiful show of fragrant pink flowers bloom in mid spring. The red blushed gold skin fruits have firm, creamy yellow flesh with a rich sweet-tang ready for harvest in July. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Carolina Gold is a self pollinator but has 1000+ hours chill requirement. Resistant to browning when cut and highly resistant to bacterial spot.
