Styrax ‘Stairway to Heaven™ is a modern cultivar of the Japanese snowbell tree (Styrax japonicus). It is valued for its fragrant star-like flowers, compact upright habit, and unusual reblooming ability—a rare trait for this genus. The fragrant clusters of pure white pendular bell-shaped flowers on red stems bloom in late spring and early summer and may experience a fall bloom with adequate moisture. Grows best in full sun and rich, well-drained acidic soil.
