Snake Branch Japanese Cedar is an irregular conifer tree that forms a pyramidal habit with branches that have unusual long snaking clusters of branchlets forming at central end points. Its short green needles curl and spiral around the branchlets. Prefers full sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established, and foliage gets denser with age.
