Bright Light Dianthus is a compact mat-forming perennial with tidy dark green foliage and short sturdy hairy stems that do not flop. The large vibrant pink flowers with white stamen have an intense spicy fragrance and bloom first in late spring and can continue to intermediately bloom to fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
