Black and Blue Anise-scented Sage is a tender upright clumping herbaceous perennial with an open habit of wrinkled dark green foliage that is lightly fragrant when bruised. Tall spikes of tiny two-lipped dark cobalt flowers with black calyces bloom from summer until frost, attracting hummingbirds. Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.
