Oregon Green Black Pine is a compact evergreen conifer tree that has an open upright spreading habit with asymmetrical branching and plated dark brown bark. The glossy, stiffly pointed dark green needles come in bundles of two. Oval stalkless cones mature to brown. Grows best in full sun with and moist, well-drained soils. Easy to transplant and is tolerant of clay, urban conditions, salt, and drought once established.
