Compact Kohuhu is tender dwarf evergreen shrub with a rounded habit and dense bright green foliage on dark stems. Small honey-scented purple flowers bloom from late spring into summer. Grows best in full sun and rich well-drained soils. Treat as an annual when grown outside in areas with frost.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
