Firewitch Heavenly Bamboo is a dwarf evergreen shrub grown for its interesting foliage and fruit display. The bamboo like foliage emerges bright green in spring and turns red burgundy as the weather cools. Loose terminal clusters of tiny white flowers in late spring are followed by bright red berries in fall. The leaves and berries are highly toxic to animals. Best planted in part sun with rich, moist well-drained soils.
