Hummingbird Yucca is a native yucca-like evergreen succulent with a broad basal clump of narrow blue-green sword-like foliage with thread-like marginal hairs and gains purple or red-bronze tints in winter. Flowering stems with branching clusters of waxy red trumpet shaped flowers with yellow faces bloom through summer into fall. Grows best with full sun and dry well-drained soils. Surprisingly tolerate of partial shade. Heat and drought tolerant.
