Hagley Hybrid Clematis is a compact deciduous climbing perennial vine with medium green foliage that blooms first both old then again on new wood. The shell pink flowers with dark pink anthers bloom first in late spring then in mid summer. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil. Needs support.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Susceptible to wilt and stem rot, which can be fatal. Other potential diseases include powdery mildew, leaf spots, and rust. Potential insect pests include aphids, vine weevils, slugs/snails, scale and earwigs. Watch for spider mites. If possible, plant the roots in the area with afternoon shade and climb the foliage into full sun for best results.
