Pepper 'Altiplano Serrano' is a specialized cultivar of the popular Serrano pepper (Capsicum annuum). The name "Altiplano" refers to a high plateau region, suggesting this variety may have been developed for or adapted to higher elevation growing conditions. Produces slender, cylindrical green peppers that mature to red that are 2-3" long. Typically medium-hot (around 10,000-25,000 Scoville Heat Units), similar to traditional Serranos.
