Alphonse Karr Clumping Bamboo is a clumping bamboo with slim yellow clums striped with green that deepen to reddish in direct sun, and feathery vibrant green foliage that emerges with a pink tint. Grows best with part shade in moist, highly organic and moist, well-drained acidic soils. Alphonse Karr is not invasive.
