Metasequoia glyptostroboides ‘Soul Fire’ PP32580 is a colorful cultivar of the dawn redwood, a deciduous conifer prized for its bright golden foliage and compact pyramidal form. It was discovered as a seedling selection and patented in 2020. One of the main reasons this cultivar is grown is its dramatic multi-season foliage color. In Spring they have lime-green needles with rosy-orange or bronze tips, creating a golden effect, then to chartreuse to lime-green foliage in Summer that transitions to golden-apricot to orange before dropping in Fall.
