Climbing Fig is a vigorous evergreen climbing vine with heart-shaped juvenile foliage that matures to shiny elliptical variegated foliage with fruiting stems holding hairy pear-shaped fruits near year round if grown outside. Fruits emerge green and mature to purple. Grows best with support in partial sun and well-drained soils. Has a milky sap that is toxic to pets if damaged. Fruits and flowers do not appear if grown inside.
