Starlight Dogwood is a flowering deciduous tree with a single trunk and an upright rounded vase-like crown. Its pointed foliage turns bright red in fall. Small button flowers with large white petal-like brackets bloom in late spring and are followed by sterile raspberry-like pink fruits. Prefers part sun and slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soil. Starlight is resistant to dogwood anthracnose and powdery mildew.
