Bat-Faced Cupea is a tender perennial grown as an annual or houseplant with thick, hairy dark green foliage. Bright red flowers with one inch long, hairy purple calyx bloom from late spring until frost. When outside these flowers are highly attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Flowers best moist, well drained soils.
