Flutter Deep Blue Pincushion Flower is a compact, basal-clumping evergreen perennial with finely cut, often fuzzy, grey-green foliage. The large button-like violet-blue flowers bloom on stiff stems all the way from early spring to early winter. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils, but tolerates part sun in hot southern climates. Intolerant of wet soils, especially in winter. Deadhead to extend bloom.
