Heartleaf Begonia is an evergreen herbaceous perennial primarily grown as a groundcover. The glossy and toothed heart shaped dark green foliage creates a rosette and turns purple-bronze in winter. Dense panicles of dark pink flowers bloom above the foliage in spring. Flowers best in part shade and rich, moist well-drained soils.
