Panda Plant is a soft, velvety evergreen succulent that grows in rosettes with long fleshy gray-green foliage that has brown spots along the tips. Red flowers bloom on dense spike-like clusters that are also fuzzy in spring. Prefers full sun and dry, well-drained soil. Very drought tolerant once established, but intolerant of frost. Toxic to animals.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Some susceptibility to scale and mites. The mother plant dies after flowering but the plant produces offsets that continue to grow. Powdery mildew and root rot may become a problem if the soil doesn’t drain well.
