Dark Matter Meadow Sage is a compact upright herbaceous perennial with aromatic grey-green foliage. Uniform flower spikes holding small rich dark purple two-lipped flowers bloom in late spring through summer.  Flowers best in full sun and moist well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.
