Anise Scented Goldenrod is a native herbaceous perennial with downy stems and aromatic dark green foliage with translucent spots. Dense plume-like panicles of tiny yellow flowers that bloom in late summer into fall. Best color with full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils.
Solidago odora is a host for several moths. The flowers have a special value to honeybees and attracts butterflies.
