Plum Wine Verbena is a compact herbaceous perennial with a stiff, mounding habit and hairy stems sporting sharply toothed lance-like leaves. The wiry branched stems are lightly leafed and are topped by large clusters of bright velvety plum flowers from spring until frost attracting butterflies. Grows best with full sun and well-drained soils. Superbena have mildew resistance and heat and drought tolerance.
